Pedagogical Tourism

Students and Teachers from the Márcio Aguiar Da Cunha State School visited the rural community of Ipaneminha, which was the chosen location this season.

They received information about the biome present in the region, which is the Atlantic Forest, characteristics about the flora, type of vegetation, seas of hills. They got to know a Spring up close, and received a lot of information about what it is, how it is formed and the importance of preserving it.

The Church of São Vicente de Paula was open every day of Pedagogical Tourism, and everyone was able to get to know it up close.

Students and teachers were also able to learn a little more about the local culture, visiting the Congado room, where they were able to see the exhibition present in a museum format.

Cachoeira dos Pregos was also a stopping point for students to learn more about our main watercourse, the Ribeirão Ipanema. The first cemetery in the Ipatinga region was also visited!

Ending the days of Pedagogical Tourism, several students and teachers increased their knowledge about the rural area of Ipatinga, got to know historical points of our region. Moments of great value for the development of environmental thinking. In this way, young people and children who care about the environment and the preservation of culture will be trained.
